Emotional story and an exquisite lesson to be taught :
My Mother took me by my hand to him and mentioned: “O Messenger of Allah, every man and woman of Madinah has presented you with a gift. I have nothing else to offer besides this child of mine. Please accept him as your servant for all your needs.”
I served the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) for ten years. During this time he by no means beat me, abuse and even scold at me. He by no means gave me an indignant look.
The first recommendation he gave me was:
“O my son! Keep my secrets confidential, and you will become a true believer”
Sayyiduna Anas (رضي الله عنه) says: “I never disclosed the secrets of Rasulullah (ﷺ) to anyone, despite the requests of my mother and the wives of Rasulullah (ﷺ).”
He additionally advised me: “O my son! Be thorough in your wudu and the 2 angels (who’re recording your deeds) will love you. Your life can even be elevated.
O Anas! Ensure that you just baths from Janabat (the compulsory bathtub) correctly, in case you achieve this all sins and evil will go away you.”
Sayiduna Anas (رضي الله عنه) enquired: “How do I do that?”
Rasulullah (ﷺ) mentioned: “wet the roots of the hair and clean/rub the skin”
O my Son! If you possibly can, then stay within the state of wudu repeatedly, for if dying involves somebody within the state of wudu, he acquires Shahdah (the rank of the martyrs)
O my son! If you will have the power to continuously ship salutations upon me then achieve this, the angels will beg Allah to forgive you.
O my son! Try to supply some (nafl) salah in your house too.
O Anas! When you make ruku be certain that you unfold your fingers aside whereas greedy your knees, and that you just preserve your elbows away out of your physique.
O my Son! When you elevate your head from ruku permit all of your limbs to settle of their unique positions. Allah won’t look on the day of Judgement to the one who doesn’t straighten his again when waking up from ruku.
O my son! When you make Sajdah, place your head and palms firmly on the bottom. Do not make sajdah (unexpectedly) just like the pecking of a rooster. Do not sit (in salah) like fox or canine squats.
Refrain from turning round in salah, as that is destruction. If want be then (it’s allowed) within the optionally available prayer, not the Fardh.
O my son! If if you go away your own home, you make salam to whichever Muslim you see, you’ll return residence forgiven.
Also understand that each different Muslim is best than you.
O my son! Whenever you enter your own home, say salam upon your self and your loved ones. [this will probably be a supply of Barakah- blessing- for you and them
O my Son! If you’ll be able to spend your day and night time with out having malice for anyone in your coronary heart, then achieve this as this can make your hisab (accountability within the courtroom of Allah) simple.
O my son! This is my sunnah. Whoever revives/ loves my sunnah loves me, and will probably be with me in Jannah.
O my son! If you observe my recommendation, there will probably be nothing extra beloved to you than dying.”
